Description
Art. 3516 is a natural off-white polyamide reinforcement sheet for leather goods, footwear and other leather products. It is used to reinforce bag bottoms, walls, gussets, pockets, wallets, seams, eyelets, handle attachments, locks, hardware areas and other vulnerable construction points.
The material has a semi-transparent mesh structure, a synthetic rubber adhesive layer on one side and primer on the reverse side. The primer improves adhesion between the reinforcement and following layers. Due to the mesh-like polyamide structure, adhesive layer and primer, the material may appear warm, slightly translucent and not pure white.

Adhesive weight: 40–45 g/m².
Primer weight: 15–20 g/m².
Tensile strength: 630 N/25 mm according to SATRA TM 106.
Elongation at break: 26% according to SATRA TM 106.
Thickness: 0.16 mm.
Important note:
When applying solvent-based glue over the primer side, use a thin layer in one pass. Excessive application may damage or remove the primer layer.
Storage and handling:
Store in a cool, dark place. If flat transport is not possible, the material should be carefully rolled into a large-radius tube without sharp folds or kinks.
